PrevCarePlus is an application to help people understand the types of preventive care they are recommended to have. The app is written for an average person who wants information about preventive care they should think about getting. The app lets the person track their own preventive care and of their family.

The U.S. Preventative Task Force (USPSTF), which is part of Health and Human Services, has put forth several criteria for preventive care. Each type of preventative care also has an importance to associated with it. The app matches an individual’s demographic and lifestyle information to the care matrix to provide a personalized care list.

PrevCarePlus simplifies the clinical language so the non-medical person can understand. It also provides background information about why the individual qualifies for care, tell them more about it and how to take action. The app can also direct them to a nearby Community Health Center.
